Since the truTV show saw a huge resurgence on TikTok – with plenty of clips going viral with Gen-Zs – fans have been desperate to find out what really happened to the star, who was known for his heated rows with Ashley Gold.
Rich no longer works for American Jewelry and Loan, which continues to trade.
Since the show wrapped a decade ago, fans are desperate to know what happened to Rich. And while we know where the other stars are – with Seth and Les continuing to run the Detroit pawn shop, and Ashley launching her own business – Rich has stayed radio silent.
And a “bizarre” situation led to his removal.
Bobby told his loyal followers: “When I got hired, me and Rich hit it off the bat immediately, he was one of my many bosses but we had the same sense of humour.
“Rich’s job as a store manager was to be at that layaway window, helping and cashing us out when we were working throughout the day.”
He added: “From what I saw, TV started to become more important than the job.
“There were times like you saw on episodes where he would be out on the floor, taking pictures with people or walking around with a cup of coffee, not where he should have been.
“So he had some instances that kind of put him on probation. So when that happened the show started using me more in scenes.”
And soon enough, things started to “get weird” between the former pals.
Bobby claimed: “His wife started going on these posts and talking s**t about me.

One controversial scene saw Rich lose money for the shop after letting someone walk away with a piece of 18-carat gold.
