F. Hardcore Pawn star details 'brutal shop fights' and 'hard to hear daily struggles'

Hardcore Pawn captivated millions of viewers throughout its nine successful seasons on TruTV. Despite the explosive reality series wrapping almost 10 years ago, an entirely new generation of viewers are tuning into the action through viral clips shared online via YouTube and TikTok.

Hardcore Pawn followed the extraordinary antics at US pawn shop American Jewlery and Loan.

Owned by businessman Les Gold, he was joined by his argumentative children Ashley and Seth.

The show was known for its on-screen drama, and now a former employee has shed some light on what life was like behind the scenes.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk about all-things Hardcore Pawn, Bobby J detailed moments that were "hard to see".

Talking of those moments, Bobby explained: "It was seeing real daily struggles for people.

"There was some stuff that was hard to see and some stories that were hard to hear.

"It's super easy to be able to sit at home and watch something without knowing any of us or what the situation was.

"People are allowed to do that, but I don't concern myself with that, I know where I was at the time and what we dealt with.

One thing often highlighted by viewers is some scenes which appear "staged" or "scripted".

Speaking about those claims, Bobby told Express.co.uk: "I never got a script when I walked into work, I never had any direction.

"Despite how that person ended up in the store, it was a real negotiation for us, that was real money handed out.

"Those items that we bought, once they were ready to sell, they hit the sales floor. You can buy the things you saw on the show."
